Drug Tourism #
Despite the unremitting onslaught of the war on drugs, some territories remain of particular interest with respect to psychoactives. During the research period for this book I visited a number of them; some as specific destinations and others in transit. This section presents a brief overview of a handful of these, in no particular order.
Amsterdam is afforded its own segment not only on the basis of its currently liberal and relatively civilised approach to drugs, but because I tended to use it as a base for both exploration and travel.
Note that I do not offer legal advice on the current state of play within any nation, but rather, I present potential points of interest for the travelling psychonaut. Always check the legal landscape before you plan a visit to any territory in which you intend to engage in any drug related activity.
